Sunroom Florals

Sunroom Florals all started around a dining room table in the winter in Maine. After drying a variety of flowers from my home garden, I started creating wreaths and bouquets for my friends and neighbors. I kept learning, creating, and bringing to life flower designs I had stuck in my head.

Wanting to pursue further knowledge of gardening, I enrolled in a Horticulture Certificate program at USM, which led to an apprenticeship at Little River Flower Farm in Buxton, Maine. That summer I designed multiple dried flower weddings and gained a variety of floristry skills through prepping and setting up weddings.

After learning so much from that apprenticeship, I started to design more weddings of local clients and create custom floral pieces for homes and local businesses. I have truly fallen in love with everything about dried flowers and hope to spark that passion in those who see and purchase my work.

The majority of the flowers I work with are grown in my home garden and dried in my sunroom and garden shed. My flower creations are made with intention, incorporate native plants, and use sustainable floristry mechanics. My garden is 100% organic without the use of pesticides, with a focus on blending native plants throughout the space to support native pollinators.
